The Delta Center for Culture and Learning

Our Mission:  To promote the understanding of the history and culture of the Mississippi Delta and its significance to the rest of the world.

Who we are:  The Delta Center for Culture and Learning is a "Center of Excellence" at Delta State University.  Delta State is  one of eight State Institutions of Higher Learning in Mississippi.  The Delta Center is an interdisciplinary program that focuses on the humanities and environmental sciences as they relate to the Delta.  While we are based within the university setting, The Delta Center works throughout the region, with local Chambers of Commerce, K-12 school districts, Community Development Corporations (CDCs), and visiting college groups from around our nation.  This explains our .org designation.

Contact Information:  The Delta Center is located on the campus of Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi, near the crossroads of route 8, and highway 61, the famous blues highway.  We are in Ewing Hall, room 130.
